Terms of Service

Corollary is a non-commercial research demonstrator operated by Kernel Science SRL ("we", "us"). It is made available free of charge to show what open scientific models can do when they are put behind one interface.

It is not sold, not licensed commercially, and carries no service level, no uptime commitment and no support obligation. We may change it, restrict it, or withdraw it entirely at any time and without notice.

You may not use Corollary for commercial purposes. That includes providing services to clients using its output, incorporating it into a commercial product or workflow, reselling access, or using it in work performed for payment. Non-commercial academic research, teaching, evaluation and personal learning are welcome.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. If you use Corollary on behalf of an institution, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including keeping your credentials secure. Tell us at security@corollary-labs.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You may not use the service if you are subject to sanctions, or located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive trade restrictions, under the law applicable to us.

Nothing here is a medical device, an in-vitro diagnostic, a clinical decision support system or a laboratory-developed test, and none of it has been assessed under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, Regulation (EU) 2017/746, or by the FDA or any other regulator.

Output must not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent or mitigate disease in any person or animal, to make clinical or dosing decisions, or to support a regulatory submission without independent validation you are responsible for.

A structure prediction with a mean pLDDT of 62 is a hypothesis, not a result. Binding affinities are estimates. Generated sequences are candidates. We surface confidence scores precisely so you can judge this — do not treat model output as experimental fact.

The research agent grounds its claims in tool results and will tell you when a tool failed rather than guessing. It is still a language model and it can still be wrong, including confidently. Every output is generated by an AI system and must be verified independently before it informs any decision.

Corollary indexes and executes third-party models and third-party data. We grant you no rights in either. Each model carries its own licence, which we surface on its model page, and some — RFDiffusion and RoseTTAFold All-Atom among them — are academic-use only.

Running a model through Corollary does not grant you rights the underlying licence withholds, and the demonstration's own non-commercial restriction does not override a stricter upstream one. Before you rely on any output, you are responsible for:

• Confirming the model's licence permits your use, including your field of use and whether commercial use is allowed.
• Complying with the terms and attribution requirements of any database queried on your behalf — UniProt, the RCSB PDB, AlphaFold DB, ChEMBL, PubChem, Europe PMC and others carry their own conditions, and some are share-alike.
• Citing the underlying model, dataset and publication in any work you publish, not Corollary alone.
• Meeting any export control, dual-use or research-governance obligation that applies to your institution or your country.

Your use of Corollary is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, and without limiting it: do not use Corollary to design, synthesise, enhance or acquire biological, chemical, radiological or nuclear agents capable of causing harm; to circumvent biosecurity or sequence screening; to attack or overload the service; to scrape it in bulk; or to break the law.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without notice and without liability, where we reasonably believe the policy has been breached or where continued access presents a safety, security or legal risk.

You keep all rights in what you submit — sequences, structures, compounds, files and questions. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive licence needed to operate the service for you: to transmit your input to the model or database that executes it, to store it so a run is reproducible and a conversation can be resumed, and to display it back to you.

We do not use your inputs or outputs to train models, and we do not sell them. Where a run executes on a third-party provider, your input is transmitted to that provider and their terms apply to that transmission.

You confirm you have the right to submit what you submit, and that doing so breaches no confidentiality obligation, no third-party right and no data protection law. Do not submit personal data, patient data, human subject data or anything confidential to a third party.

The Corollary name, interface, design and code are ours or our licensors'. These terms grant you no right to use our trade marks.

Credits meter the compute a run consumes so that a free demonstration cannot be exhausted by one user. They are an internal accounting unit, not money, not a stored-value instrument and not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded, and expire with the period they were granted for.

No payment is taken and nothing is for sale during the demonstration. Any price shown is indicative of a possible future service and is not an offer.

Estimates shown before a run are estimates. Free tools run against public APIs we do not control and can be rate-limited or unavailable at any moment.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that results will be accurate or reliable, or that data you store will be preserved. Keep your own copy of anything you need.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where the applicable law does not permit exclusion.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss; for loss of profit, revenue, funding, data, research results or opportunity; for wasted expenditure or reagent, laboratory or compute costs; or for reputational or publication harm.
• We are not liable for any decision taken in reliance on model output, or for any experiment, submission or publication based on it.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service, on any basis, is limited to one hundred euro (€100). The service is provided free of charge, and this cap reflects that.

If your applicable consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are unaffected by this section.

You will indemnify us against any claim, loss, liability or reasonable cost arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, from your breach of a third-party model or data licence, or from content you submit that you had no right to submit.

This does not apply to a claim caused by our own breach, negligence or wilful misconduct.

You may stop using Corollary at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account and its data at privacy@corollary-labs.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time — because the demonstration is ending, because of a breach of these terms, or because continued operation is no longer viable. Where we can give notice, we will.

Because this is a demonstration, we may delete accounts and stored data when it ends. Export anything you want to keep. Sections 5, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 14 survive termination.

We may change these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where we hold your email address and the change is significant, notified to you before it takes effect. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you do not accept, stop using the service.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Italy have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings there. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
