About this model

OpenCLIP-based foundation model for organismal biology — zero-shot species classification from photographs across the tree of life, trained on TreeOfLife-200M. Served through the generic Modal runner, which pulls imageomics/bioclip-2 from the Hugging Face Hub and runs it as a zero-shot-image-classification pipeline. Inputs and outputs were derived from the repository's declared pipeline tag rather than written by hand — check the model card before relying on a result.

Standardized I/O contract
